What to do if your have a good game idea but don't now what to do?

Hi Developers, I have a very good game idea but I’m not very good at scripting I have high hopes that the game will bring revenue and can be at the top of the charts, I am 14 and unemployed to pay someone to help me make the game what do I do?

I thought someone can help me and get 25% of the money the game makes similar to the shark tank.

If you can, I would recommend either hiring a scripter or learning scripting yourself to achieve your game idea.

But if this is a big idea you have and you have 0 experience with making games, I would recommend you first start by making simple projects to give yourself experience before the big idea that you believe could be a top game, if you immediately start with your idea and it is big, you’ll feel demotivated to continue after you realise the scale of it

If you are uanble to hire or cannot learn it yourself, try seeing if one of oyur friends knows scripting so you and them can work together to make it, but make sure you, and them if they also have 0 experience, to refer to my previous paragraph

Hey, your just like me! I always just try to do my best or hire someone. I’ve only hired a scripted once though and we haven’t finished the game yet.

Most of the time if I am positive I can’t do it I give the idea to someone else on the forum but you really want to make this game so I would not recommend that you’d do that.

What parts do you need help with? Maybe I could help!

I need help with scripting It is very unfamiliar to me here is my discord if u want to talk personally Clumsy#4922

Oh, well I can’t script so I’d need just as much help as you do.

Then what are you good at? anything helps

While it’s good to have ideas and hope, it’s important to also consider how the current landscape works. @EmbatTheHybrid brought up a good point. You might want to look at practicing/learning scripting while potentially working on a smaller game as you’d be surprised how much goes into games. You also have the option to try to find a friend who might offer to help.

While the Shark Tank concept is neat, it’s not as viable as you think without a track record. You have no guarantee that the game will pop off nor any collateral likely, which is why percentages are generally a large gamble for developers to accept. Hence why most will just prefer payment through USD or R$.

I can make the npc’s clothes and maybe the set
