Recently me and one of my devs for my game had a fallout, in the event of a fallout I had promised my fans that if the assets never made it to playable state in my game I would at least put them up for so they could have a crack at making it work.

i kept to my word and released the train to my fans, but now am at risk at out-of-context people reporting me for “leaking” the model even though it was given to me for my game:

should I just take it down and disappoint my fans? add it to the game and risk the game being reported or what? it is really stressing me out
Did your friend want pay for the model?
no he gave it to me for free, and even after the fallout left me on the team create with it
Have they asked you to take it down or remove it?
asked for it to be taken down, but also threatened to leak my own game too, so i kinda hit a cross road where even if i remove it they might back stab me regardless
but i also don’t want to disappoint my fans, last time i didn’t deliver something they were hyped up about it got a lot of backlash so with both my apology and reinstatement of my old game i promised to release whatever doesn’t make it to a game in future
(the game i hyped up before closing down and leaving my fanbase angry: Trainz DriverZ Classic - Roblox)
According to Roblox’s rules, you’re allowed to “leak” the model since it was on team create.
But morally, I don’t think it is ok to do so just because you made a promise to your fans.
i will see if i can get in contact with the dev again and actually be able to sort out an agreement (they kinda yelled at me and then blocked me) hopefully i can come to some sort of agreement that lets the fans have their fun until a new model is made by one of my other devs
