What would a highly realistic climbing game consist of?

Basically I’ve had an idea where I would like to make a fan recreation/remastered version of the current Mt. Everest Climbing game. I’ve loved playing that game for a while and personally have spent a lot of time on it. However, since it’s rarely getting updates, I would like to create a more modern, realistic, and immersive game with more content.

I’ve had a few ideas in mind to add to what the original creation was such as new obstacles, systems/mechanics, and revamped terrain.

I am curious however and would like some feedback from you guys. What do you think are some of the things that should be included in a realism based climbing game? What are the specifics that should be focused on when creating something like this?

in this beta game, when you jump towards a wall, your character can climb it, and move up, down, left, right

You’ll probably want to reward players with nice view if the game is meant to be realistic
