What would be the price of this in robux/USD?

Hello,

In your opinion, If I had to sell a fully functionable Admin Panel that works with messagingservice, what would be a reasonable price for it?

The Admin Panel comes with a :

  • Shout/Announcement System which replicates to other servers in live time.
  • Ban system, owner and other allowed users are allowed to ban/unban users even if they are in another server. (UserIds of players who are banned are saved in a DS)
  • Kick system, owner and other allowed users are allowed to kick users even if they are in another server.
  • Warning system that warns user in live time.
  • Neat and user-friendly Interface that is easy to use.

What would be a reasonable price of this admin panel if I had to sell it for Robux/USD?

Personally, I would say about :robux:30,000 equating to 100USD, if the interface is really nice then you could possibly bargain for up to :robux:50,000 (175 USD)

If you could provide an image on what it looks like that would be cool, but id say about :robux:500 because if you would put it for such a high price, then the person who is buying it may as well hire a scripter to do it for him/her.

500 Robux is in my opinion far too low to even be worth the time I spent lol. In that case, I’d rather keep it to use it in my future projects.

Thanks for your opinion though!

@InternallyAmplified
Hmm, I’d consider that. Thank you for your opinion!

It’s hard to price something like that when the market is flooded with free alternatives. Yes gui is easier on a new admin, but text based commands are much faster to use. Really the only thing unique is the cross server messaging, but that is not super hard to replicate. So I just don’t see it having a whole lot of value.

500 is far too low as his admin includes cross-server functions which is hard in itself to make (for me it is anyways)

Yeah. Thats exactly why i said :robux:500. I think maybe you can price it within :robux:2500 to :robux:500.

I agree, I could make it use the chat but I personally see it much neater on UI.
Adding onto yours, the open source ones use datastores instead of MessagingService which I find a bit old if you know what I mean.

Thank you for your opinion!

Understood however, I kinda think it’s unfair to think in that manner. The price should reflect the amount of work put in and shouldn’t be lowered just because there are free alternatives. That would obviously make it harder for me to sell it, however for me it depends on whether the buyer would prefer an open source alternative or not but it shouldn’t make me lower the price.

500 :robux: surely doesn’t reflect the amount of work put in even if cross-server messaging is easy for you, that’s pretty much 1.75 USD.

Don’t get me wrong I see your point, it’s just that I think it’s up to the seller at some point.

500 R$ for admin commands (good ones) is seriously nothing, and if you’ve got personalized, technically branded, admin commands, they’re worth a LOT more than just Free Models. I’ll give you some reasons why, here:

  1. With personalised Admin, you can decide a lot of the actual commands, as due to them being made specifically for you.
  2. There is no worry of someone somehow getting admin, as when you have the code nobody can secretly add their name into your Database.
  3. Free Models often show some sort of secret thing the creator snuck in, like how one banned certain users from joining any game with that admin in just because they wanted to do that.
  4. If ever there is an issue with the admin, you can ask for help from the person you commissioned, basically meaning you’ve got a lifeline to call on as long as they’re online (and not busy, obviously).

There’s probably many more reasons, but these are just some of the better ones. However, there’s also the reason for the price that these commands take hours of work and thousands of lines of code. Most popular admin commands usually has some donator role, which allows for them to profit. That profit exceeds far further than just something like 30k, like Internally suggested.

Something like this should cost a lot, for good, clear reasons. Anything around 30 to possibly even 100k is somewhat fair (obviously only charge depending on budget, group size, etc). It may seem like overkill, but when you look into the amount of work in it you’re really getting a good deal.

If you are looking for Robux/USD for something like this, I would say it isn’t worth making. It’s complex to make, for it to be worth making, it would be priced too high for a large amount of customers. Not to mention, the large amount of free alternatives.

@Benified4Life Perfectly agreed, that is why for me it would depend on whether the buyer would want an open source one or have a custom admin panel which comes with the perks you mentioned. If the majority of the users prefer using the open source alternatives, so be it but I should be reasonably paid for the work that was put in.

@corotines Noted, yes I am still not sure of selling this. I am just trying to figure out how much I would get if I had to sell it.

Just an idea, but maybe have a cheaper version of the script ($100-$80) for players who don’t want the cross-server communication aspect and less customization. But I totally see having the full feature script with direct customization being $100+. Just a way to get more potential from the admin panel.

Err, I am not sure about that as there’s pretty much an open source one like that, that uses datastores.

The unique and great feature about this is the cross server messaging. It’s what makes it “special”.

Thanks for your opinion!
