What would make a good lobby for my game?

So my game Honest Bots has a lobby that is not to my liking. Honest Bots is a question asking game that lets players hang out and have fun, but I need a lobby that looks engaging and fun. If you could maybe give me some feedback on what I should do, that would be great!

Game Link: Honest Bots - Roblox

  • Fun and engaging
  • Showcase
  • Other (if other, please post below what you think I should do)

Thank you for your time! :slightly_smiling_face:

Depending on how detailed it is, a showcase can be laggy on some devices. Considering the rest of your game appears more simplistic, I would rather you maintain a “standard of quality,” rather than have some parts of the map super detailed while other things (such as the robots) suffer in terms of appearance.

Hope this helped!

I tried to play your game but roblox’s player is experiencing technical difficulties.
Your game doesn’t look too heavy on what’s already there judging by photos. I think a fun and engaging not only fits your type of game better but lobby’s are meant for waiting. That’s why some places with lobbies try to make it more interesting (magazines/pamphlets etc.) and in games, parkour or other.
It’ll catch the attention of the player longer if you go for fun and engaging, in my opinion.

When I think about a lobby I think:

  • A queue with an advanced GUI

  • A area where you can buy things with a shop, to trade, and talk and with maybe some coins and stuff

For your game, a showcase won’t be good. (Because rounds are so short)
If a new player spawns in in between a round, they will look at it and if it is bad they won’t play.
