Please tell me the order of them, i know its kind of dumb not to know the order of game forms as a developer. And i don’t know what to search? on the dev form how would i search this question?. If you do know please tell me the orders or what to search, for my situation.
What i mean is what goes first to last you know?
I got this off of Google and by myself so I may be a bit incorrect.
Alpha comes first.
Beta comes second.
Release comes last.
Hmm ok ill see what other, developers say you mind if you can tell me what you exactly searched for?
It starts with Alpha, then goes to Beta, and generally the game is considered released afterward.
The order of Alpha then Beta is based on the Greek Alphabet, iirc, but I’ve never seen any games use other letters aside from the first two to signify a stage of development.
Edit: Here’s a graphic from this wikipedia page that covers the Software release life cycle, if interested.
Alpha, Beta, and Release.
Using the analogy that your game is like an essay…
Alpha is basically the “rough draft” of your game. Probably a lot of bugs, parts you maybe forgot to anchor, stuff like that.
Beta is a more polished draft of your game. You probably fixed those bugs and anchored those parts by this stage!
Finally, the release stage is the edited, proof-read version of your game. This is generally the most hyped-up stage, as it’s the official release.
Thank you, for the help!. i will make sure to remember this.
I just searched, “What comes after Alpha?” or something similar to that.
