What are you showing us? Is this supposed to be a showcase, or a map for a game? Could you give us some more general details?

EDIT: Cool design though; very ominous

It looks cool. Post-apocalyptic, in a way. This website is neat for generating names: https://www.fantasynamegenerators.com

Silo, smith, bank?

I dont know, really. Just what came through my mind. I like your creation though, it’s very nice.

First of all, your creation is amazing and I really love the style because it’s quite realistic.
Maybe you could add more:

  • Vegetation (tree’s)
  • Mountains
  • Add more furniture and like make it look less tidy
  • Particles? (like dust)
  • A fireplace in a house may seem cool

I don’t really know what kind off project you will be trying to go for with this but I think this suits a sort of survival/horror game genre.
Maybe something like your the sheriff/detective in the town and you have to do quests etc like missing persons and finding secret stuff ( a story mode style game)

Honestly, whatever it is you are building you should look up multiple reference pictures that best detail what it is you want to build. This way you have a much better understanding of what it is you are building, whether your imagination is vivid or inadequate. I’d suggest looking up “Rural German/Russian Villages” or even finding video game concept art of what you think links up with what you wanted to build.

Some more context would be helpful but for some good advice:

Quick Guide to making a Realistic Town

If you want to make a realistic town you need to take a few things into account. Towns form for certain reasons for example:

Port towns: Towns normally form close to water areas as it’s easier to trade

Market towns: - Towns tend to form up based on shops gathering in areas and were located near to main roads for trade reasons.

Resort: Resort towns form in beautiful areas where tourist go to and therefore have gift shops etc.

Natural Resources: Some towns form because of their closeness to natural resources so will have a mine etc.

Towns tend to have low and middle order services and the amount of higher order services increase as the size increases (such as in cities.) Low order services are everyday shops whilst high order services are specialised things.

Examples of low order and middle order services to include:

  1. General Store

  2. Post Office

  3. Butcher

  4. Garage/Horse Shop (depending on time)

  5. Grocery

  6. Hardware store

  7. Schools

  8. Bakery

  9. Chemist

  10. Furniture Store

  11. Restaurants

  12. Bars

Are just a few examples of things you could add, and you could also have other buildings like banks and include a currency.

So what im trying to do is a post-apocalyptic town.
Thanks tons for the advise! Ill see if i can put this into practice

Extremely detailed, and really portrays town that is emptied out. I do however insist you make more buildings, human features, with mountains, vegetation. Also, if this isn’t a deserted place, I insist you use this. I also recommend you make more buildings as previously mentioned.

Examples of low order and middle order services to include:

  1. General Store
  2. Post Office
  3. Butcher
  4. Garage/Horse Shop (depending on time)
  5. Grocery
  6. Hardware store
  7. Schools
  8. Bakery
  9. Chemist
  10. Furniture Store
  11. Restaurants
