What's the best tip for a beginner artist(s)?

Hello fellow Robloxians and Artists, like myself!

I just recently started up a hobby of making Roblox artwork, and I really feel happy about my results. But when it comes to the thought of doing commissions or selling in general, I know nothing. Is there any tips to being a beginner Roblox artist?
Also, I’m starting off with a drawing pad. Any tips for that too?

Hello! I find it great that you are going to start making ROBLOX artwork. A tip I would give to you is to make a professional and clean-looking portfolio with previous work, a little about yourself, and more! This will make your audience intrigued and most likely interact with you.

The best tip i can give you is: Let people know you are there and what your skills are (By maybe making a portfolio or anything). Its also important to keep improving and to have a great price/quality. Some people are underpriced but some are overpriced you have to find the perfect price for your designs/artwork. I am not really experienced with Roblox artwork but i made designs and artwork with other themes much.

I’ve been drawing for almost 5 years digitally! My tips would be: never use solid black or white to shade or highlight, always use references, don’t zoom in too much just for small details, think 3Dly when drawing (since everything consists of basic shapes), and know nothing is perfect! If you still need help in drawing Idm giving my assistance since I need to draw more often too. My disc is choco#0881 if you got anymore questions- good luck!

I’ve Doodled around a bit and made this! It’s a mix of a Wii character and a Roblox avatar, keep in mind I just started using Apple Pen! :happy3:

I usually do cartoony art style, I’ll definitely practice and work into detail!

It’s really beautiful! I can see that you know how to shade and that’s a step forward in digital art. Definitely can imagine a cartoony style from it . It’s honestly so good for a beginner, so keep it up! Thank you for the compliment too, and just lmk if you have any questions anytime :blush:
