I understand this may be very vague, that’s my mad. I have previously created a gun 3d model via blender and have imported the mesh in studios. I was wondering what would be the best way to create and actually store different weapon skins as you would see in games such as “phantom forces” or “bad business”. I have very good experience with blender and photoshop if such is needed. If you have a link to a forum or article regarding this or just knowledge on the subject, I would truly appreciate the help

UV map your gun parts correctly, then you can texture/color/procedurally generate patterns onto your gun parts! Once you’re satisfied with the coloring, bake your design into a single texture and apply it ingame.

How would you apply it in game? I’m having trouble with this last step.
