I’m making a rocket league inspired game and i want to market it to get an audience.
I’m not entirely sure on what to do but im thinking of:
Using Sponsors and discord server to advertise the game and not release it yet to build up hype.
Use youtube ads to convice people who are interested in both rocketleague and roblox to show them an awesome gameplay trailer.
Release the game on its predetermined date and hope for an audience/fan-base.
use the first option, second option uhhhhh- idk what to do about that, third option is a no-go -zone because i made a fighting and did the third option, no one joined, so that leaves option one, soo do that one
Try out some of my options
Make your ads like a movie, which having some creepy in it
Do not make it too long, nobody want to waste time
Always start with something interesting like something about the boss or how your game going to be
Make different in your ads (Do not make it become a weird ad)
You also can make something that make visitors wonder what is it (Like Trailer. Show they your creative)
You can just copy pure of Rocketleague, getting some ideas from another soccer games is a good ideas (Ranked Gamemode, 1v1 Gamemode, Training Gamemode, Endless Gamemode, Story gamemode)
If you use cards like for crate’s loots like Car Cards or Car Skins Cards, It will be a good ideas
it should not be VERY simple otherwise people will think the game is bad (and the developer (pls don’t take that as an insult)) make it nice and descriptive, all mashed together to make a good picture…
Do you mean that i should do it as a the youtube ad or the roblox website ad?
To my knowledge not many rocket league players know about roblox, your game has a really niche audience, it’s best if you ask a big rocket league youtuber to play it, tho it is hard to get in contact with them, still give it a try, try donating to them while they’re livestreaming
You can’t really get creative with ads, you’re only allowed to put 30 second trailers
