What's your experience with Avatar Appearance Override?

While there are games that LITERALLY sell your avatar back to you (a hillariously effective monetization method), it was more an exaggeration of every game having accessories you can buy while taking your avatar.

Iā€™m fine with it if the equipment boosts your stats, like armor that gives you defense.
But if itā€™s cosmetic (and uses Robloxians), I hate it. Iā€™m spending my hard earned currency just to buy back clothing I already own on my Roblox character with hard earned currency (that holds monetary value!!)

EDIT: But this is coming from someone who has Robux. Iā€™ve spoken to people in MeepCity, and they like being able to customize their character in there because they couldnā€™t have purchased that clothing for their Robloxian because they donā€™t have Robux.

Agreed. My game clothing wonā€™t be extravagant. Mostly shirts and pants which are about 5 robux in the catalog anyway.

The use of Avatar Appearance Override differs per game. For instance, if you want all of the players to be the default R6 or R15 appearance, then itā€™s quite helpful. However, if you are using it for a game that doesnā€™t need it, such as typical tycoon, then itā€™s easily starts to get annoying.

Well, as I love my avatar, yeah, Iā€™d love to play as it. I mean, itā€™s not going to deter me from playing a game that I enjoy, but the only reason why I get on a game like Jailbreak is because of my avatar. But if it is a well made game, then simply because I canā€™t see my avatar isnā€™t going to prevent me from playing.
