To do this, You need to open the material generator and type a prompt and then the glitching text comes. I don’t believe this is my laptop’s issue as I am able to file this bug report fine and I am able to type in the command bar fine. I can even search in Google fine, search in YouTube fine, use the Texture Generator fine, Search games fine, and even type in the Windows Notepad fine. As of 13/2/2025 [UAE Time], Only the Material Generator is not working properly.
I’ve had issues with the material generator as well! Whenever I try to use it on one device, it crashes the whole laptop.
I think it’s like a beta feature and still being fine-tuned or something.

Okay, I tested it again (since this issue was a while ago) and I got this result:
As soon as I click on “material generator”, the material generator pops up, but it won’t let me click anything on it. This includes typing text. Then I tried closing it. That resulted in this:
This shows that a whole section of the screen (equal in proportions to the space the material generator took up) is left empty and in the way after I closed it. It also might be important for me to mention that the empty space is on the opposite side of the screen from where the material generator was. This visual bug is then stuck there until I restart studio.
And then all of studio freezes up.
Here you can see me trying to change from select part to rotate part:
And here you can see me trying to insert a part into the workspace:
And then, when I try to close Studio, the entire laptop freezes and requires a complete restart to function again.
So, for tech specifications, I am on a MacBook Pro on macOS Sonoma Version 14.1.1, and for studio version, I am on Version 0.660.0.6600648.
And as one last thing, the material generator works perfectly fine on the other device I use.

If possible, can you try a fresh re-install of Studio and clearing out any local cache of settings on your device? My theory is something got corrupted so this may fix the issue
