Opening

This guide is meant to inform and educate the When Dust Settles community on the various weapons in game.

The info in this guide is crucial to your roleplaying experience. Weapon attachments, bullet type, magazine feed etc. are all necessary to proper roleplay involving your in game weapon.

Before listing the details about the guns in game, rules involving weapons will be listed below.

Rules

Here are some basic rules you should know when roleplaying with your weapon.

  • Weapons are not unbreakable, you may not fire 10 thousands rounds and expect your gun to stay completely intact. People are allowed to request you to roleplay a gun breakdown if you have been using your gun long enough.

  • Ammo is not unlimited. Do not fire unnecessary amounts of bullets, throw out magazines with bullets left in them or carry more than 5 magazines on your person.

  • The rule above applies to all ammo types except for incendiary, modified or Full-Metal-Jacket ammo (In which case the limit of magazines goes down to 2) . You can carry a mixture of ammo but no more than 5 mags in total.

  • Guns must not be roleplayed as guns that you do not own in game. This includes weapons restricted to LPM’s.

  • Damage on a weapon must depend on the cause of damage. The damage sustained will impact your chances of being able to repair the weapon or find someone who could repair the weapon.

  • Although gameplay function restricts the weapons you can carry at a time, you may switch weapons in each slot mid battle/interaction with proper roleplay.

  • Weapons used by a person must be realistically attainable for the current characters situation.

E.g, Character with established backgroud as a member of Police, CA, Criminal Organizations etc would have easy access to weapons than someone with a background as a secretary for a local bisuness.

  • Owning a surplus of weapons (4+) without suffecient reasoning or lore (occupation, skills, backstory etc.) is considered FRP and will have you subject to revision of your character (occupation, skills and all sectors that apply in overall lore). Failure to abide will result in punishment by Kick, Server Ban, Server Void or Removal of rank in all WDS affiliated groups if same violation is commited repeatedly.

Guns may have attachments, some examples of attachments (and their benefits) include:

→ Dual Magazines (Faster Reload)
→ Automatic Reload (Tech invented in this games timeline, allows the skipping of a reload)
→ Full Metal Jacket (Increased Damage, Ability to pass through thin surfaces of wood, metal and concrete)
→ Rail Attachments (Includes but is not limited to Sights, Laser Attachments, Bayonets, Flashlights, Phone Mounts, Camera Mounts)

  • Loopholes in any rules regarding weapons or otherwise are not allowed and will be treated as a rule violation of any type at the LPM’s discretion. Punishment will depend on the rule violation (determined by LPM) and the mood/judgment of the LPM.

  • Please be realistic with any weapon attachments, modifications or specifics/details. LPM’s are free to determine if your lore is suitable for your character.

If you believe you have been unfairly punished please contact an In-Game LPM or contact them via Twitter, Roblox Messaging or any external source of media at your and the LPM’s disposal.
