When an anchored part is moved through tween service, unanchored parts connected to it through welds do not update their position to match the anchored part unless the anchored part is unanchored.

I don’t think anchored parts have ever updated their weld-connected unanchored parts. This may still be a bug, but I don’t think it’s new behavior.
Try using Motor6Ds for connected anchored and unanchored parts.
