When posting a response with a quote from another member, the quote disappears and the post edit count is incremented

Problem

When posting a reply to another forum member, sometimes I quote part of their post. When I send it, immediately, the quote is removed and the post edit count is increased by 1. If I edit the post and do it again, the quote stays.

EDIT: Not sure if this was fixed, but now it’s not doing it.

I have experienced the issue twice already on this thread: Enable --!native for clients

What I expect to happen is that the quote is not removed when I post a response to another forum member.

To reproduce the issue, perform the following steps:

1. Open any thread in any topic.
2. Reply to a post.
3. Quote part of the post you are replying to.
4. Add your own comments.
5. Send it.
6. Observe results.

This is expected behavior, full-post quotes are edited out automatically by the forum software for brevity since you are already replying to the post.
