Hello I’m Ryxku.
6 months ago I’ve written a topic suggesting to protect roblox users from being moderated for specific content when we contact the mail of Roblox Copyright Agent.
Today I’m here to ask advices on a new problem I’m having with the Roblox Copyright Agent.
Currently the assets I asked to be removed around the beginning of February 2024 have not been removed as of this writing September 1st 2024.
After receiving several mails like this :
And like this :
I’ve waited months to finally receive a final reply indicating that my assets have been removed.
But that would be too perfect to be true, wouldn’t it? And if it had been, I wouldn’t be here writing this devforum topic.
This kind of response sucks, but first I wonder how they managed to screw up and not recognize that it’s me.
-How I managed to contact them?
I use the roblox support page and asked for “Asset Removal Request”.
-Did I contact with the wrong email?
No I don’t think. I always use the same email to manage my roblox stuff + the email I used to contact them is the one which is linked to my Roblox account. I also told them my username from the beginning.
-The owner’s asset is a group?
Yes and no. I requested assets uploaded on my own account and others from my group. But the assets of my group are uploaded most of the time by me at 99.9%
That’s why I asked to Copyright Agent to send me the assets ID I requested to verify I didn’t request something else.
And guess what.
They listed correctly the assets I requested.
Then I told them after that they are my assets! I sent proofs.
Just to receive this poor answer :
Seriously I hate the lack of communication.
How can Roblox be surprised that we don’t like support if it’s just a one-in-10 chance of being helped every time?
I even think that 4-5 years ago, when I did glitched audio tests and asked for a refund, they totally understood.
Now I feel like I’m asking a wall for help.
I have nothing against the employees, but I don’t think they have access to much of our information and are incapable of verifying it. It’s not serious at all.
Any user can check and directly say that what he sees belongs to me, it’s marked next to the name of the asset…
But now I have one last question, and I want you to know that I’m not going to give up on my quest to remove some of my assets:
Has support deduced that since some assets aren’t in my name but belong to my group, they’re automatically not mine?
But it would be stupid if that were the case, because I can’t contact support as a “group”, I’m a person, a human, not a group.
And who’s the owner of this group, you ask?
Well, it’s me. No surprise there.
So here I am asking for your help, if you’ve had an experience similar to mine, don’t hesitate to testify here and give me some advice.
I’d be sincerely grateful!
