When to use Vector Images and Softwares

Greetings! So, I’m right now learning a Vector image software called Inkscape, a free and powerful Vector based Art Design software. Anyways, so I’m just wondering, can I use vector softwares to create images like you see in cafes and such as gfx or something that people on Roblox Bed Wars did? Is there any other kind of software for art design that can help me get the same thing?

Thanks.

There’s photoshop which cost $20 a month but it’s the best there is and then there’s photopea which is the closet program you’ll get to photoshop

not sure what cafe stuff your referring to but you can make any vector design in inkscape pretty much. It’s not used to make 3D renders that’s seen in gfx nor for editing photos generally. If you want those types of software you can download blender (3D program) and gimp (image editor) which are both free.

A lot of icons are designed in professional software, such as Adobe XD. Adobe XD is free and is a vector icon design software. I would highly recommend making icons with vectors if you need precise measurements and resolution scaling, and I’d recommend using Adobe XD to do so.

I would personally recommend the Affinity Suite. Affinity Photo is the equivalent of Photoshop and Affinity Designer is the equivalent of Adobe XD for vector images. Each software is £50 as a one-time payment and are well worth it. Affinity – Professional Creative Software

Thanks everyone for the advice, I could probably make my vector images in Inkscape and then transfer it over to another software like Photopea, which I’ll try and check out.
