When you join developer forum, does the roblox itself scans your birth date in your roblox account to approve you're older than 13?

Developer forum is only for people over 13, but i have been wondering this thing. Does it scan your account birth date (not how old is your account but the birth date you put in your account)

Sorry it’s a bit confusing to tell whats happening but i’m trying to tell you guys in the most explainable way possible that i could think.

Yes. If your age is set to under 13 on Roblox you will not be allowed on the forums and will be unable to login

No? At least I don’t think so. When I was 12, I joined Roblox Wikia. A year later I got blocked for a year for being underage(I didn’t know that (you have to be 13+ not I don’t know I’m 12) at that time). So perhaps they let you in, then shortly after becoming member, they kick you out. I’m not sure, I’m only guessing.

What he said is correct. Our forum uses a SSO(Single Sign-On) login system that uses Roblox accounts for login information. The roblox website checks if you are 13 or older (based on the birthdate on your roblox account), not the forum.

Just in case you weren’t convinced by Turtlepla and wevetments, I tested this with an alt account and here are the results:

1. You need a verified email address
