So, after a recent update to studio, roblox decided to implement a new asset manager that currently doesn’t hold badges. I am not sure if this is intentional or if they have moved them somewhere else, or simply just forgot they existed, but I would like to know if anyone knows where they may be located in studio. This will save me a lot of time having to go to the create page and click on the badge, copy the id and paste it in studio.
Game Explorer has been replaced with Asset Manager. Use that instead, it serves basically the same purpose.
Yes, but I am unable to locate the badges like previously.
Select the game you want the badges from in the drop down.
yea but you were able to do this fully in studio. You didnt have to go to the roblox create page. It was all available in studio, and I am wondering, now, where they have it in studio or if they removed it from studio
From the looks of it, it isn’t in studio anymore. You should probably email roblox support asking them if this is intentional or not.
alright, just wanted to post here in case anyone knew where it might be. Thanks!
It seems like Roblox wants to deprecate badges in a way…
I sure hope not. I’ve always felt badges are a way players can feel accomplished in some games. I really hope they just forgot about them or something.
If they replaced it with something better I wouldn’t find an issue, since they’re 100 ROBUX to make;
If they do decide to replace it with something, I hope it converts already made badges to that new format. i believe badges have always been a good thing to have and there are some people who have poured thousands of robux into them…
