Where are my auto saves going?

i used to use roblox auto saves all the time but for some reason there have been no auto saves since June. my game says that it is creating an auto save but for some reason i look into my Auto save folder in Documents > ROBLOX > AutoSaves and there is no new file inside there. this is quite annoying as i just forgot to save multiple hours of work and looked for an auto save and its not there .

Not entirely sure but I believe the latest autosaves replaces the previous autosave; for me at least. Have a look at the ‘date modified’ dates the next time you see an autosave being created.

i already checked. the most recent one is from 3 months ago

That’s interesting. Have you tried opening autosaves of the place directly through File → Advanced → Open Autosaves? Just like yours, my Documents → ROBLOX → Autosaves directory also has out of date autosaves but I access my latest ones through the place directly.

Thanks. this helped a lot. idk why roblox changed their auto save location but for some reason mine was in appdata. this could be because im in the roblox beta channel but i didnt think that this would have happened.
