Hello,
I’v been struggling with learning blender lately
Can you tell what you sued to learn blender what what places you recommend learning from?
Thanks.
I watched videos on YouTube on how to build on blender. You can mostly learn how to build on blender from tutorials and such. I learned a lot from Blender Guru but everyone learns differently
I learned with youtube videos and I recommend starting with pure 3D and not scattering around in renderings and shaders. The thing that trained me the most at the beginning was a tutorial to make a low poly human being, extremely trainer if you are well focused because you learn a lot of options, tips and shortcuts. I found this it seem very good to begin, but you will have to hang on because it’s intense Blender Beginner Tutorial - Low Poly Character - 10 Minute Tutorial- Part 1 - YouTube
I actually had the same question, thanks for posting this, I’m probably gonna read up on the answers!
oh ok thanks! that helps alot!!!
OK thank you so much ill check it out.
No problem! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask
ok lol
If you’re struggling with how you make models, I suggest watching some Speed Modeling or tutorials on making specific items such as:
Low Poly Well Tutorial
Low Poly Sea Shack Tutorial
Intermediate Blender Tutorial Series (Anvil)
These channels have a lot of useful tutorials on Blender
It’ll give you some tips or techniques you can use for your models. Speed Modeling will also help you understand the workflow.
There are a lot of other great tutorials out there, hopefully, this will help.
I taught myself blender, I watched some tutorials but overall I experimented with everything.
ok i will check them out thanks for your help!
Hmm ok i will try experimenting too maybe that will help
Yea! No problem!
If you’re having trouble creating something, you can try searching it up and it’ll give you some great techniques you can use. You should play around with it after.
Watch a lot of youtube videos, read the comment sections, experiment in blender (you can always restart if you make a mistake). I’m a person that doesn’t really like to follow tutorials that much, so I just watched a bunch of videos and tried to apply those concepts into simple designs, and then gradually progressed. But I’ve still got a bunch to learn. Blender can be a bit of a confusing place if you’ve just started, so I suggest focusing on one part of blender at a time (modelling, sculpting, animating etc…). If you can build in roblox studio then you’ll already have an advantage in blender since you know how certain models should look.
Good idea Ill try that out! thanks for the idea!
