As the title says, how do I find investors and where?
Besides one revamp for a dribbling system and fixing some small bugs, my game is almost done.
As people have said before, I cannot find investors in the ‘HiddenDevs’ discord server, as it is also not allowed there.
Help would be really appreciate as I really need funding for my game, as I don’t have any funds for my game, which is why I made it all by myself with help from the devforum.
There’s really not much hope in finding investors. What I think you should do is build your balance by doing commission jobs or whatever reels it in. You’d be better off spending time there.
I will try to do that, but I’m just a beginner in every aspect of developing games. I’m okay at scripting and building, but people just want professionals with like 2 years of experience.
Take a few weeks to build your portfolio. People will value what they can see over word of mouth.
I’m sorry man but nobody will invest if you’re a rookie at everything in developing because investors would be looking for top tier Developers to invest their money into. Best way to do it is the commissions, start off cheap and but maximum effort into whatever you do and your portfolio should build from there. Once your Portfolio is big and with some amazing showcases you’ll make bank and then be able to invest into you’re own game.
I didn’t mean being a beginner at developing my game. It’s already 99% done and it’s pretty good in my opinion. What I meant was that I am kind of a beginner at doing commissions
