Which add genuinely looks better?

Hello! I’m currently using 2 of these adds for my game “Car Madness”, however recently my developers ad (the bottom one) seems to be doing better by nearly a whole percent in terms of CTR than my ad (which is the top one). I’m not the best at perceiving art in all perspectives which is why i’m here to ask this question: Which ad do you like better and why?

I personally think the top looks better than the bottom one, but the bottom one is more click-baity hence why it probs has a higher CTR.

I do want to mention though that having click-baity ads that have no correlation to the game they’re linked to will mostly just results in people clicking off or disliking it. People prefer getting what they came for / saw. It may get you more clicks but clicks are nothing if the visitors aren’t interested in what they landed on.

Ads such as the bottom one are sometimes known as “clickbait” ads that attract younger users because it may appeal more to them therefor having a higher CTR.

Ads that also have “click me” like the bottom one may not get passed through moderation as easily.

I do prefer the top one but there are a few things that can be done to make it better such as:

  • Add a stroke to the text to make it “pop” more
  • Add a slight black line between scenes as shown in the bottom one so players can easily tell the difference
  • Maybe add the game logo so people know what they are going to play. (older users that click on these “click-bait” type ads and then find out it has nothing to do with the ad usually don’t play the game.)
  • Possibly make the text smaller and near the bottom of the each scene to show off that scene.
    image (ie. move the text so the ban hammer in the back is more visible.)

I feel like these changes might help you get a higher CTR and help you when making other ads.

Though I like the artistic aspects of the first ad more, I prefer the second one in general due to it appealing to my personal sense of humor more than the first one. However, @0929lego provided some very good advice with what you should do. Also, if you’re appealing to the Countryball fandom, Polandball should be in the second ad.
