Which blender version reduces lag but still good and easy to manage?

Hey, developers!

I’d like to know which version of blender reduces lag and doesn’t heat up as much on lower-end computers while remaining satisfactory and easy to manage.

Thanks!

I don’t really think changing the version of Blender is going to help if you have a low end computer, 3d rendering and modeling are expensive on a computer, there’s no way to really get around that.

Okay, forget about low-end computers. Which version of Blender do you believe does not crash frequently and does not lag excessively in general? I’ve heard that the latest version of Blender crashes a lot. For the time being, disregard the type of computer. No worries if there aren’t any or it isn’t possible.

I use version 2.92.0 and don’t really crash. Lag is unavoidable, my PC is pretty decent and I still lag when a lot is happening. The only time I crash is when Blender stops responding and I start clicking around, but if you wait long enough it will continue working. I haven’t tried the latest version, which seems to be version 3.0, so I’m not sure if it crashes more or not.

Alright, thanks for the information!

Actually, 2.92 should be the best option unless you do some crazy stuff like skin modifier or heavy rendering it shoudnt really crash

Ah okay, I’ve heard a lot about 2.92 but I couldn’t find any videos about it so I decided to ask here. Thanks for the help!
