You should choose any cell that fits a facility theme look. If i where to suggest a type of cell to use, i would choose the right one definitely try decreasing the large size within the cylinder so it could fit the style your wishing to accomplish. I feel like this is something you should decide on which one to use.
In the future I recommend is using images of the things that your trying to create that way, you’ll know which one fits a facility look personality. The build itself seems have a large details, but that can be fixed with decreasing the amount of size within it. With some work, the cell can look better if your wanting to improve it a little more in the future.
I don’t think any of it would fit since both of it is too thicc. Make it thinner and then the right one would fit. Also you should prob change the colour.
Please make the cylinders smaller and fix the key area and the cylinder one will look better. I’d suggest using the blocky one in an eight bit type of map just I would change the key hole to suit the theme. If you are going for a realistic cell I would use the cylinder one. Gl
Hello, if you saw the screenshot I’ve sent to @jordonh23 I’ve tried making it thinner. If they’re anything you want me to change, I’ll gladly change anything you request. Also, I’ll change the color and material once it’s completed. Thanks!
I think it depends on the style of the game. The right would look good with future lighting and a realistic approach but the left would look good for low poly or cartoony
I agree with @DiamondGenius7513. I like the left a lot better. I play a lot of realistic games and every one of them has blocky cell doors. All that needs to be changed for the left cell door is the key hole and the rectangle outside of it needs to be spiced up, add more details on that part and your good.
Add some screws, rectangular outlines that deepen in (The more darker gray rectangles show this), a more sophisticated keyhole (In the drawing I just made a traditional one), and by the way, will it be swinging door or a sliding door?
Crude 2 min drawing I whipped up to explain what I meant.
Alright, thanks for telling me! And no, I plan to make the door look like Stateview’s prison door where if you click on the door, it’ll be pretty transparent.
As of right now, I got the lock done. Textures, color, and the material will be added once I’m done. I’m stuck and wondering if I need to negate the lock part and union around the dark gray part or anything to make it look good. Thanks! (Help is needed.)
It looks a LOT better. The material (pebble?) looks off, so might need to change that. The keyhole would also look better negated all the way. Good luck!
