Which decreases faster?

I’m trying to go for a bit of realism for my zombie survival game. Currently, hunger and thirst decrease at the same time: 7 seconds before it decreases again. I know everyone has a different metabolism, but what is the general decrease? Like should hunger or thirst decrease slower?

You can die of thirst in about 3 days. Depending on how fat a person is, they can survive months without eating (as long as they have water), but will be majorly impaired when doing actions. In general food intake is needed much less often than water intake.

Thirst.
I’d make thirst decrease 3x faster than hunger, 3x just seems like a good ratio. Don’t know why, it just seems like it would be good.

actually reminds me of that one case I heard of about a dude who survived without eating for a year, and how others died trying to do the same thing. Angus Barbieri's fast - Wikipedia

I would be mad sweating in a zombie apocalypse, it’d make sense you’re shedding so much water in a scenario that involves athletics and fear. I don’t think I’d be craving a snack surrounded by the undead either
