Which Game Should I Continue?

Hello everyone! I recently keep on making new games and giving up on others due to the lack of determination, but out of curiosity, what one out of these games sounds interesting and should I continue developing it? Here’s a list of games that I personally think are some of my best pieces of work.

(Some can be unplayable due to not finishing them or just alot of bugs.)

FIGHT OTHER PEOPLE:

“Fight other people” is a game where you punch other people out the map. That’s literally it. For some reason it got alot of attention compared to my other games and actually made sales on one of the gamepasses. What do you think about it?

Random Rhythm Game That I Made Not That Long Ago.

“Random Rhythm Game That I Made Not That Long Ago” is just like any other rhythm game out there such as robeats. 4 rows, and hit the notes in-time. I updated some things recently but I stopped because the development was very messy and I wasn’t bothered to fix any bugs and make any more songs, (there is one that is still unfinished.) Should I continue it? (Personally I wouldn’t.)

The deep dark forest

“The deep dark forest” is a copy of the 2014 horror game “The Forest”…
At the time I really enjoyed playing that game and I decided to recreate because I was bored and after all “Why not.” I even went as far as asking the developers for permission to recreate their game, but they never responded. I knew that if it would be an issue they would reach out to me and say “Hey take this down.” I would just make it private and keep it as a good memory… (game was private until now.)

fps?

I don’t like this game… It looks awful and there is alot of shooter games out there anyway.
(I wouldn’t continue this either)

Untitled Game

This is a game which I don’t like how it looks, but I love the concept.
“Untitled Game” is a game where you choose what your character does in random situations, such as take a drink? (Y/N). I also have a similar game to this called, “Tasks”. Also looks bad.

Wdym

“Wdym” is a horror game where you walk behind one corner and get tied to a chair almost right after by sans. For some reason I thought this game was epic but realistically it was bad. Play if you want, but I’m warning you that this is one of the least playable games.
(Atleast the menu is horribly done and is hard to start playing)

Alright, thank you for reading and I cant wait for the replies!
Thanks!

Because Roblox is supposed to be a fun learning experience and because you have already lost interest in these games at one point… I would work on whatever you feel motivated on. If you are making a game simply because you feel it will be popular and isn’t something you actually love working on, you will become easily unmotivated and it will show in your work. There are no guarantees that once you do a lot of work on a game that it will be well received so spend your time here with the idea of enjoying the journey.
It’s totally ok to have unfinished projects. You’ve learned something from each of them so don’t feel like you are failing.
… otherwise I would vote for fight other people… seems like a good stress release particularly if there are npc dummies that you can practice on like… “annoying neighbour” or “co-worker who chews with their mouth open” or “school bully” … just an idea… maybe not the most positive one… lol

I fully agree, but the issue is that when I can’t get something what I want done, I just give up and move on. I can never help it, but recently I updated the rhythm game because I learnt how to use tables and saving data. What I’m trying to say is that I will go back to projects long later after I learnt how to do the thing.

Thats also why I stopped developing that fighting game. I had no idea how to add settings so I just moved and just pretended like that game never existed. And so the hype went away aswell.

That’s totally normal. I have many different half made games as do many of the people I know. It’s actually a good life skill to be able to put something aside for a bit when you get stuck and move on to something else that you can be productive with. Your games aren’t going anywhere. But… if it’s really important that you seem something to completion, create a step by step plan on what you want to create. That way you can tackle each step as it’s own project. You will see your progress as well as know where you are headed. It’s a good way to keep on track.
