Which loading screen is better?

For a game I’m currently working on, I’ve made two different types of loading screens. I’m wanting to know which one is better, and why you picked the one you prefer over the other.

Loading screen 1:

Loading screen 1 would have the camera cframed in front of the building, whilst loading screen 2 has rather simplistic blue background.

EDIT: Although UI #1 isn’t scripted, it’ll work the same as UI #2.

The second one is al lot nicer in my opinion because the blue background just matches the theme in a way, and it just feels more cartoony that way and kids love cartoony. Also, it’s kinda like a surprise in a way because they don’t see the builds until it’s done loading up, and that duck lmfaoo.

I prefer the first one, but it should be a lobby or something behind the loading screen

The first one will have the daycare building behind the loading screen.

Sweet, and maybe the camera is rotating around
the daycare building while it’s still loading :]

Yeah, I’ll try out the camera rotating around. I’ll get back to you with the results.

I think the second loading screen looks better.

I’d say the second one, but change the text from text scale to an actual size so the whole text doesn’t jump around adding each “.”.

I like the first one in my own opinion, but I do think that you should move the “1/100 Assets Loaded” Text Label somewhere else maybe place it in the middle or underneath the "Helping Little Ducklings TextLabel.

First one with some part of the map in the background. Keeping the blur

So I moved the assets loaded text underneath the loading bar at the center (though in the gif u can’t see it as the game loads in rlly fast).

I’ve taken a map from a diff game I work for and applied the camera effects to it.

Here’s how it looks

Maybe just size the logo a little smaller so it is more put together than stretched out. Also maybe lower the camera position. But other than that, it looks good.

I prefer the first one since it does look nice.
What you should do for the background is maybe having like a camera moving around the daycare.

Holy duck! The first one is much better

I like that idea, the first pick. However, in my opinion, it is too bright for a loading screen. I prefer darkening out the background, or make it less visible. You might also want to adjust the proportioning of the Little Ducklings Daycare icon, since it looks stretched horizontally.

How about the Teacher Shout box on the left side? Are you going to hide it throughout the lodaing screen? It would look neater if you do so.

Thank you all for the feedback. I’ve taken all of your suggestions into consideration and implemented them (going with the design of the first UI I’ve provided). I think this is my best UI yet, and i’m grateful for your guys’s suggestions, helped a lot!
