Which way do I do

I am making a competitive game, I have everything finished, but I want to know if I should have a main game and a subplace (like TDS and Doors) or one main game (like Arsenal, and all gamemodes redirect to the main place with the gamemode’s variation)

Visual example:

Example 1: (TDS and Doors uses this method)

Example 2: (Only Arsenal uses this method)

Depends. If this is your first game and you don’t want to make it too confusing for the players, I suggest making it like Arsenal. But, if you want this to be big, then make sub places. But, I suggest doing it like Arsenal.

I see, but the problem with that is that it adds clutter, and the actual game will probably be a little more laggy and messy because of the extra scripts and stuff.

the reason that doors and tds do this is probably because the player would want to choose how many players they start with or other options, but with arsenal thats not really the case (at least to me). you said your making a competitive game so Im gonna guess that the player wont need to have many options to play the game and if there are options they wont change the gameplay too much, so I recommend going with 1 main game that has the lobby and the games

The game is gonna have 2 options, ranked competitive and casual for new players, do I still use the Arsenal way?

if thats the case make the main game a lobby and use the doors way.
