White screen when loading on Roblox

Microsoft store or UWP version of Roblox does not come with intrusive Hyperion

It’s not. Windows 11 has had some DLLs in the past that must be changed removed to get Roblox working, if I remember correctly.

So, how can I fix this problem?

I bring an update.

This is roblox studio. Seems like either nobody has any OpenGL drivers or those dlls are gone. at least maybe.

Dunno if it’s the actual issue, but studio failed to launch properly for me and went into a white screen like the main player, so it might be related.

Update your viddeo card drivers

Here are the official websites for each manufacter:

Nvidia Cards

AMD Cards

Intel

That’s probably it, but I can’t at the moment.

Roblox is still using OpenGL ES 2.0 because of MoBiLE cOMpaTiBiLiTy. I suspect that you’d need to install a special driver to get it working.

Actually there’s a new version available, let me try that.
IDK why Windows Update didn’t recieve it

EDIT: Now instead of showing the white screen it just crashes

Roblox only uses GLES 2.0 if it’s the only supported Rendering API on the device running it. They have support for Vulkan, DirectX 11 and Metal.

Also, this looks like an error from Qt, the UI library Roblox uses for the engine, judging by all the "Q"s everywhere and being led to the Qt docs from some of the specific words. Clearly, @playerofgamed’s graphics drivers must be outdated or corrupted somehow, when there are so many API drivers missing from their system that it tries to fall back onto OpenGL 2.0, an OpenGL version released in 2004.

nah really? deleting D3dcompiler.dll from System32? bruv, is something wrong with you? It’s weird software conflicting, NOT windows 11 (unless if it is maybe a pre release ver.)

Again, what should I do to fix the problem?
Roblox Studio works fine, so OpenGL drivers are installed and working (right?)

Have you tried re-installing Roblox completely?

It shouldn’t even be using OpenGL on a Windows PC. You should check for system updates, driver updates (on my PC, I have NVIDIA GeForce Experience pre-installed because I have an NVIDIA graphics card, which lets me update my drivers), maybe this is the time to ask Roblox Support or file a bug report.

maybe this is the time to ask Roblox Support or file a bug report.

It’s a waste of time. After asking stupid questions they said “We sent your request to our development team” and nothing changed

Are you sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date? If you have an NVIDIA card, you should get software called “NVIDIA GeForce Experience” pre-installed, which let’s you update your drivers. There should be something similar for AMD and Intel chips as well.

If NVIDIA GeForce Experience is NOT installed, go to NVIDIA’s download page:

Then try re installing Roblox and Roblox Studio, then try an SFC and DISM scan on Windows, this compares the system files you have to the fresh ones Microsoft’s server contains and restores it sometimes. (DISM uses Windows update, your Windows update client has to be functional for it to work)

Also, use a non-insider version of Windows 11 (for example 22H2 build 22621), sometimes it may refuse to run on a unreleased version of Windows 11.

No, I can’t exit Windows Insiders and I don’t want to dualboot a non-dev beta.
I will contact Microsoft (maybe)

This issue has recently re-emerged for me, and many of my friends. It is 1:1 to what was previously described, white screen, minimized-frozen screen, and/or only being able to use/open ROBLOX Studio.

Contacting support gave me nothing but a vague answer to the quote “(…) is currently working on this for you to be able to enjoy our platform”, very unsatisfied with both the reply and the low initiative support seems to taking to the situation, considering the fact that this is a very rarely occuring issue. Never has an issue like this bothered me since I joined in 2016.

Anyone found a solution to it? Tried everything under the sun described to try and fix it but to no avail, pretty annoying.

What version/build of Windows do you have?
NOW IT’S EVEN WORSE!
Both Roblox Player and MS-Store version don’t work…
Yes, I tried sfc scan, dism repair, disk cleanup, appdata and temp appdata (local) reset, disabling antimalware, it just doesn’t work

UPDATE: Seems like, according to Microsoft’s known bugs (as I said I have Windows 11 Canary), some games refuse to work in 259xx builds (I have 25992). I can see lots of people already reported this issue in MS Feedback Hub. Meanwhile, I will downgrade to (or dualboot) Windows 10.
