White screen when loading on Roblox

Hello, I have been having an issue with the website version of Roblox lately, ever since I got my new PC, oddly enough the issue did not occur on my older PC. Whenever I try to load up Roblox on the website, I am met with a white screen. There is no loading screen, there is no crash and there is no freezing, and I can even hear in game audio. This occurs on all experiences.

I recently got a new computer which has everything freshly installed, with the following specs:
-NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti
-Intel Core i9-13900K Processor
-32.0 GB of RAM
-64 Bit Windows 10 Pro
These specs are insanely higher tech and expensive than my old set up, and I don’t really see how any of these parts would conflict at all.

I sent a support ticket and was told that issue was made aware of, but I am still unsure of whether the attempted fix was tried already or not. Before anything else, YES I am absolutely sure everything is updated, my GPU drivers, my windows, BIOS, everything is updated. I cannot see any form of UI with the white screen, pressing ESC or any button shows nothing, and I am forced to close it.

As seen with the image, that is how I see it 100% of the time. Interestingly enough, using the windows store version of Roblox allows me to play normally, but it is less than ideal for what I work with since my cursor will often go off screen and click on external tabs and buttons, and the client refuses to stay in screen for that version of Roblox, hence why I would prefer a resolution for the normal website version of Roblox.

Disable any browser extensions, or uninstall some of your roblox plugins.
If didn’t work then go to whatever browser your using, go to settings and go to chrome://settings/content/all (google), find Roblox and press bin (trash), if it didn’t work again then you might did some changes on Roblox Studio settings.

The roblox player isn’t on the browser.

Plugins? As in roblox studio plugins?

Deleting your cookies? But your logged in and playing the game!

Perhaps the graphics mode is set to NoGraphics. That would explain the no graphics. But I highly doubt the OP did that. Maybe the graphics mode is just set incorrectly, but I still doubt it.

Your not an expert, it supposed to be deleting cache not cookies, and in extensions, there might be some undated extensions that being used on all websites or only on roblox.

It’s still browser related, and the roblox player is not on the browser.

I don’t have browser extensions or plugins, this is an entirely fresh PC. Not sure what Studio has to do with it since any changes I did try with it were after I encountered the issue. I’m very sure I already tried clearing cache as well. I could try again but I doubt it’d do much.

Did you try reinstalling Roblox?

Yes, I’ve already tried that. All the tried and true solutions you’d think would work I have already tried.

It’s really strange. I’ve never encountered such issue like this. Maybe try to dm a Roblox employee on twitter or something

Have you tried this solution? It worked for me although it still crashed or closed itself when I joined two or three games but then it worked again.

I haven’t tried it and I am not sure if I should since it’s a solution for a problem that isn’t related to this.

Adding onto it, again, it’s a very new PC, so there isn’t exactly much to ‘clean’ or clear off.

You can try it if you want to. My screen also went white most of the time so it could be kinda related

Tried it just now, doesn’t work.

Very weird. Might not be a roblox problem, especially if it’s a new new pc. But hey I’m no expert. Don’t know what could be causing this problem.

Try using a different device or network It is possible that the issue you are experiencing is related to your specific device or network. big problem for sure, you said it’s new pc but that’s already what happen to roblox studio when you open it on your new pc.

I’m talking the normal roblox player, not the studio. Last time I checked studio works perfectly fine.

Adding on, my previous setup worked fine on the same internet, so I don’t know why this setup has problems with only roblox specifically. Remember it has the in game audio as well, so from what I can tell it registers me being in the game, but visually I cannot see and thus cannot do anything feasibly for obvious reasons.

  • What is your graphicsMode set to in the Roblox client?
  • Are you launching Roblox from the website or are you using the desktop interface?
  • Is the Roblox client installed for all users or just you? (probably not relevant but just checking)

My Graphics Mode is set to Direct3D11, when looking in Studio. I only get this error when I launch Roblox from the website, when I use the Microsoft Store version of Roblox, it works perfectly fine, however there are issues which make it unpreferrable to use.

I am not sure what the 3rd line means but, I have Roblox installed on both of my Windows users, the only reason I do is because it gave me the error on one, so I tried seeing if swapping to another would work. It doesn’t.
