Why am I not able to edit jump, Gravity, & Walkspeed?

(Not Solved)

I’ve been having this issue for the past 2 months, why so?

I tried using a script and it didnt work.

^ Before i click save ^

(As of now, it says “Walkspeed = 5” but the walkspeed on the player when i click play is 16.

In game:

This also effect jump power

In-studio this is what shows:

Even when i change gravity levels, the save button does not turn blue

If you can help i would love it.

(Solved)

Quick note:

I open studio from the RobloxStudioLauncher.exe rather than RobloxStudio.exe

I do that since robloxstudio.exe when opened pops up with this, might that affect it?

Did you try to uninstall and install roblox studio?

all possibly due to roblox servers being potato, they’re currently down
i also have that issue and never had it not changed before roblox went down

Installing a brand new studio file, hope it fixes it, i doubt it tho

If you cant edit default then,
just make a script in the start spawn.

same as the way you set walk speed, just change the word

Here’s the issue, it doesnt work, even if i use a script.

@SkyleTheFrench Hiya! Tried as you suggested, error still pops up, it might be due to my PC bluescreening while studio was open.

Anyways thanks for the advice!

Might be, but this issue has been with me for the past week, it has really slowed down my development, i’ll double check roblox studio’s servers.

Set your GPU,
usually, it always works

How do i do that? If you have a video that would be amazing!

Go to settings>Gaming>Game Mode>Graphics>Browse

Go to desktop and fine Roblox studio
open file location “Right click”
select the studio app
and back to setting, and click the studio
Options and High performance

Example: NVDIA, Radeon or Intel

Me when, not earning the solution

This is the solution for the errors, am i correct?

Edit: It worked! Thank very much!

Solution for Walkspeed & Gravity:

Roblox’s side, as of now, no fixes are found.

^^ Quote rewritten

^^ Semi-Solution

Solution for the error:

You can use a startercharacter and edit its jump and walkspeed inside the character, and then load the players humanoid description onto that.
