Why am I unable to shrink a group of parts?

Hey guys! I got a question, why am I unable to shrink my parts? I cannot shrink the group, but I can shrink the parts individually as shown by the GIF:

Thanks for your help!

Try using this instead, ROBLOX default group sizing has been iffy for a while in my experience but this works like a charm.

Thanks! I’ll try it and get back to you.

EDIT: Worked like a charm! Thank you!

That plugin is very useful!

However sometimes the parts spread apart and are really time consuming to put back to place.

What do you mean by

Just moving it back to its normal position?

Happens rarely
Although ,
The individual parts spread apart when shrinking/expanding the model , a lot of parts in completely different positions and trying to put them back together takes up a lot of time that could have been prevented.

Oh yeah, I understand what you mean, it’s gappened to me before, although, using it now, hsppily, this isn’t the case.

Shrink it with the text-based UI.

Set it to 95% original size and spam it a few times. This gets rid of the separated, mesh quality that is created with manual scaling.

Even though this was “solved” it wasn’t really solved.

You can’t shrink the entire model any more because at least one of the selected parts is at the smallest size ROBLOX allows the type of part to be. That’s why you can expand it and not shrink it any more.

Hope this helped. Happy developing!

This happens to me a well, even when the parts aren’t the minimum size. I use a model resize plugin to fix said issue.
