i needed to fill in a hole in my build, but i noticed that, when using wedges, the brick texture shines more than normal. Every other texture? Fine. But not bricks for some reason.
Wdym? Isn’t that just the normal map?
but why is the texture different? Why are wedge bricks different to part bricks?
Different rotation or something maybe? Or maybe they just get more light? You can try making the wall a union and see if that does anything.
normal map is flipped by 180 degrees.
Rotate wedges to fix that. Also you will need to resize them (swap 2 axis sizes, Y and Z)
after some thinking this is impossible cuz textures will rotate by 90 degrees.
You can’t do anything in this case sadly, only thing you can try is union parts (bad variant) or use meshes
I’ll just use unions I guess
minimum character count
mb you can try to rotate BLOCK parts by 180 degrees?
If you’re gonna use meshes, you may as well just build in Blender. It’s way easier when you get used to it, and even Roblox does it a lot these days.
yeah that does work thanks!!!
