I’ve made multiple games but it seems no matter what they just don’t get any visits?
I’ve been considering adveritising the games but I simply don’t have the funds to do that right now.
So far only the games i didnt really put much effort into have gotten recognized (2-4k visits)
Is there anything I can do to make the games more popular?
Probably because ur game is just a copy paste from other old games .
I mean I’m no expert in how roblox’s algorithm works, but here’s what I think it does:
The more people that are attracted to the game, the more popular it is.
For example, There may be some really high-quality games out there that no-one knows about, whilst some game with the name along the lines of ‘Skibidi toilet fortnite obby ohio obby obby’ or something like that gets tens of thousands ov visits everyday because of roblox’s main playerbase: children. I’d imagine this should be fairly obvious.
In other words, you should probably promote your games in some way if you want them to be popular, whether that be through roblox’s advertisement system, or simply uploading a trailer or two onto youtube (which is free!).
Anyway, I’ll be sure to check out your games!
Thanks, I should definetly try making trailers for the games!
At least when I’m done pushing out more updates for the games
One idea is to make your games with a unique twist such as a theme and one that will keep your players engaged. Games that have to same objective tend to be boring and get repetitive.
That’s what I tried for my sword fighting game.
I tried giving the players more to do than just click a button and fight enemies, and to do that I added little secrets in the map to boost their gameplay (Secret Armor + Sword), and every few waves the player is forced to complete an obby in order to progress to further waves, I saw this as pretty cool and gave the players more things to do
Have you tried adding different maps and a live event? Engagement and fun is key.
Area 51 is currently planned to have 2-3 more maps added, and SFOTH has an event planned for the future.
SFOTH might be good if you fight NPCs instead of players. Since the game has literally no players to fight with, people will leave. Since NPCs are AI, you can program them to be easier or harder to fight.
yes, that’s how the game works already.
It’s a wave based singleplayer game.
Wave games are kind of dead and boring. Maybe a popular genre such as pop culture will do.
Games have changed over the years and so have expectations. So a good place should offer something interesting and fun. Consider combat and platforming have been strong tennants of ROBLOX gameplay. offering a different and modern experience that appeals to the new age of people is good. Sword Fights on the Height was made in 2008!
because these games look likes remakes, they look stale and boring from the outside. runker was almost a direct copy of the idea of area51 but it was rebranded and made absurdly fun (stupid mechanics or buffed forces and weird physics, bombs and explosives)
There is already a thousand of these games, why would they play yours instead of the already established versions.
