I can just re-link the textures and it shows up fine, but why does it turn gray whenever I copy it over to a new place???

Is the file name of the texture the same in the new Mesh, or is it missing completely?
I had some that were being copied a few days ago with a texture file name of just “https:” and nothing else.
Would it readd itself if you restart your studio session?
I believe it was the same? The whole link was there.

I tried copying it over again to a new place, and this time the textures showed up properly. uhok
Perhaps some connectivity issue made the textures unable to load. Were there any errors in the output on the Texture lacking Mesh place?

Yeah… it’s the issue that when you paste into a different server you’ll have to upload the texture again
because when you upload an Asset to the “Game” it will remember the name of it, basically it has a reference to it but once you put the Mesh or Decal in the other “Game” it won’t be able to find the Asset so what I recommend is instead of using “Asset/Name” just copy the Asset Id so it’s usable everywhere.
