Why are none of the parts in my rig animation moving?

I want to try and animate my rig and gun together so I can make a npc that shoots you and has recoil and reload etc etc. I have checked to see if the parts are anchored(they were not). I have also put the motor 6d in all the right places I believe, one in the lower torso connected to handle, and a motor 6d between handle and the mesh of my AK-47. When I got to try and move these in the animation editor it would not move yet create a dot on the animation timeline. When I play it, it would not move. I am new to doing this so am I making a really simple mistake?

sorry I never got back to this. It turns out that I missed one random mesh that was anchored so it was a really easy fix
