Does anyone know why the spawn point in studio isn’t working? I automatically spawn in the same place each time. I’ve tried deleting it, and reloading studio, but it doesn’t work.
Can you please attach a link or something which is compatible with mac because this link is not compatible.
I can’t change it, I’m sorry. This was recorded using Roblox Studio.
Maybe you could add it to the google drive or something.

Have you checked the script in the spawn?
There’s never been a script in spawnpoints.
Have you taken the spawnpoint from the Toolbox? Spawnpoints that is from the marketplace may not work when you take them from the marketplace.
Try taking one out of the Model tab instead.

I only use the spawnpoint from the model tab.

If you are not wanting to watch through that, do this:

Add team service to your game

Create a team for every level.

Go into each team, and set their team color to a different color. Name them the name of your stage, and uncheck nuetral.
Important note: For the first team stage, you need to make sure Nuetral IS checked, so players spawn there.

Now go into your checkpoints. Inside team (undercheckpoints), change team color to the correlating team in team service (that team’s color).

Finally, check allowteamchangeontouch (inside the checkpoint), and make sure none of them are nuetral.

That’s very helpful, thank you, but I just want to have a normal spawnpoint . I’m not trying to create a game.
So you grabbed the spawn point from the model>gameplay tab in studio and it doesn’t work? You might have to contact roblox support and submit a bug report.
Also is this a team spawn or normal spawn.

Yeah, I probably should submit a bug report. The spawnpoint is working in every other game, just not that specific place. It’s a normal spawn.
If there’s a team, change the spawn point to the team color and name it to the team name. They must be the same, or it will spawn you at random spawn points.
It’s a normal spawn, and it’s not a game so there is no team spawn.
Are you testing with Play Here? Make sure you’re pressing Play to test and not Play Here
I do know how to use studio lol.
I think I have the same issue.
I was going to try and move everything to a new game, to see if it would work. It probably won’t though. I think it could be something in-game that’s affecting the spawnpoint.
