Hello! So recently I’ve installed a version of blender (I think it was 2.8 or something) because I wanted to try modeling. Personally, I am a gfx artist so I like to use blender 2.79. Whenever I try to install that version, it says “later version of blender already installed” “cancelling installation”. This doesn’t make sense because I already deleted all earlier versions of blender. Any tips?
Yeah, for Blender related questions contact Blender support or visit blender.org, some people there may or may not already have a solution to this problem.

Alright, thanks! I will try contacting them!
I’ve seen multiple people that have this issue. I haven’t tried this but, you must delete all the data of Blender you have in your files. First off uninstall Blender, then delete the app’s data and files. Check out this article to learn how. I used this exact method to completely delete Discord from my PC because it was bugging out. Also I think the first 2 steps are all that you need from the article to solve your issue. Hope this helps.
