Why cant people under 18 have immersive ads inside their experiences?

  1. Would like to know why people under the age of 18 cannot apply immersive ads in their experiences, specifically the more mature age bracket 17+

  2. What is the issue?

  3. What solutions have you tried so far?
    unfortunately, i cannot magically grow my age via some unknown genetic sciences, so. my question remains - “Why cant people under 18 have immersive ads inside their experiences?”

The US congress created legislation that made using ‘targeted’ ads on minors punishable by a massive fine (300k+). Likely it is to avoid this sort of situation.
