Why DepthOfField FarIntesity has a massive difference from a small range

Not sure fully how to explain it, but when I move the FarIntensity a minisule amount, the blur all of sudden becomes dramatic. Anything really below 0.22 and there is virtually no blur. So how come theres such a huge jump in difference when moving from like 0.22-0.22 (ie 0-0.22 has no difference, then 0.23 we all of a sudden get massive blur)

I feel like DOF is very broken. For some reason it remained enabled even though I have disabled and even deleted it from the lighting folder.

Bumping this. Currently it is impossible to make dynamic DepthOfField transitions due to this bug. I recommend moving this post to #bug-reports:engine-bugs.

I tried creating an adaptive depth of field, and this causes it to become impossible. You aren’t the only one with the problem, all of my team has seen this happen.

Bumping this as this still seems to be an issue in late 2023. I’m trying to make an adaptive depth of field as well, and this bug makes it look really broken. Hopefully the issue can be acknowledged and/or addressed.
