So around End of July and beginning of august my game had a unexplained spike in players with 25k visits a day, 80 average player count, and my game being the 32nd search on the obby search result. After a few days of popularity my game vanished from the obby search result and my normal 1k visits daily returned. I didn’t put and robux in ads or sponsers. Does anyone have an idea why my game spiked for a couple of days and went back to its normal daily visit count?
Then it’s likely because the name has Cocomelon in it, a well known kids YouTube channel. However, your game lost concurrent players because of it’s low like rating.
I’d also be careful of the possible DMCA you may get from Cocomelon, especially if they ever decide to make a Roblox game themeselves.
this happens to me before the first Obby game I created on 8/6/2020 which is last year has about 390 visits and about 10-20 active users a day. Then I started to lose concurrent players so I decided to close the game because the obstacles of the obby was really bad and nobody liked it including me. So, I change the permission of my game to private so nobody will have access to it only me. I have plans for the game to start all over again from scratch in the future. And as you can see in the image the visits was at the bottom, suddenly it increases even though my game is private. So, somehow my game got 404 visits and I don’t know how. It could most likely be a roblox bug.
