Sorry for the late reply I had to sleep. But yes you’re right in that I can change it thanks but, There is a problem I didn’t mention, is that I can even move my Torso in the Roblox animation editor, I can select it but it won’t move. Any suggestions?
I just found out that I’m selecting the HumanoidRootPart and not the Torso, But Why am I able to select it? Do you know how to make it so I can’t select the humanoidRootPart?
Sorry, like I said, I’m not that good at animating. Try going into explorer to select the torso instead of clicking it in the workspace. Then you won’t be selecting the HumanoidRootPart, because the were selecting the root part was probably also the reason you couldn’t move or rotate it.
Sorry for the late Response again but, It’s ok I found out to fix it.
You just click on file in the top right corner, then click beta Files, and disable pivot editor
I have recently encountered the exact same issue as presented here, only disabling the Pivot Editor feature in Beta Features didn’t resolve my issue. One thing to note is that Pivot Editor was turned on yet I was still able to rotate stuff along pivots correctly, however turning it off to try and fix the problem yielded no result.
What’s weirder is that the pivots still exist technically in the Animation Editor if you manually enter the rotation values but they’ll essentially not exist if you rotate them using the standard Rotation dragger.
They are most definitely lined up correctly, I’ve double checked it with a couple different rig editing plugins and all of them have shown them in the positions I originally rigged them in.
What is even more confusing is that parts that are rigged inside of the limbs of the model do have their correct pivot, and seem to jerk whenever a limb is rotated in the animation editor.
Download this plugin if you haven’t
and check if the motors are really lined up, also check there priority, It can mess up animation rotation sometimes because of the center of mass
Also priority? I can’t say I’ve heard of the property before and there’s no immediate view of it in the Properties view nor RigEdit ( I use Plus ), unless I’m just not looking in the right place
