Hi everyone,
I’m having some issues whenever I import stuff from blender into roblox studio, and I thought maybe someone more experienced than me on here could try to help me.
Whenever I import something I import the object as an FBX file, this should allow me to import the object with the same color as I have it in blender, however when I import the object in studio it simply is gray, this isn’t my main concern though, the real problem I’m having is that whenever I import an object in studio there are invisible spots everywhere which makes you float instead of touching the ground for example.
As you can see here there are invisble spots/blocks around the window’s frame that make you float, the same thing also happens to the ground or doorways, literally anything I import from Blender to Studio.
I don’t know what to do to fix this problem, I’ve tried watching YouTube tutorials but I’ve never seen anyone have this issue, I hope there’s someone on here that knows what the problem is and how to fix it.
First of all, try selecting your meshes inside Roblox Studio and setting their CollisionFidelity property to PreciseConvexDecomposition. If that doesn’t fix it, try chopping your meshes into multiple pieces inside blender and import them that way. Set their CollisionFidelity to PreciseConvexDecomposition inside studio as well.
For the color part, you need a texture image containing the colors otherwise Roblox Studio won’t recognize the colors. You might wanna follow this tutorial for texturing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VBRA-OwtPY
This makes the bug worse and I float higher than before, I’ll try cutting up the meshes and importing them that way when I have some time tomorrow, I’ll let you know if it works. Thanks for your reply thought!!
