Why do people advertise groups?

I have little to no idea how group work except that we can share Robux.
why do people advertise groups ? what are their benefits from it?
Most group that I saw were advertised have multiple games in it , like this one ;

Where can I get more information about group benefits?

Well, maybe they want to become popular or roleplay group. Like Military group. When They make roleplay group they need more people.

Well , I thought maybe making a group games will give the creators more Robux benefits or what not .

There are many benefits to a successful advertising of a group the main ones being;

  1. An influx of members, making your group more popular amongst more people.

  2. Due to the increase of members, you would usually expect a higher amount of revenue especially in a group with many games in them.

  3. Advertising a group comes with the benefit of paying less for players if you’re sponsoring a game. This would be because sponsoring multiple game would cost more per click than a group with multiple games would.

There are more to name but as mentioned previously the more you find out about groups the easier you will notice the benefits of advertising.
