I’ve took a lot of effort on a game. All my friends who’ve played it said it was fun, and their genuine reactions proved they weren’t being sarcastic. However, when random people join even in the middle of a match, they leave <3 minutes.
Your game is hard to play. You get straight put into a match, and it doesn’t have any tutorial. The GUI is clustered, and hard to understand. The map is very ugly, I think it needs more places, like instead of a black maze, add maybe a garden? The tools are cool, but the features are weird. Hope this helps!
Ok. I’ll add a lobby and interactive tutorial. How is the map ugly? What can I do to improve it? Which features are weird? I don’t think a garden would work, as I’m going for a dark feel.
The map is pretty bland, as it’s only one material. The features are only weird if you don’t read the description, and the garden was just an example, it could be the moon, a haunted house, etc… and a bonus: Incentivize inviting friends to your game.
I’ve added an interactive tutorial. Players know that they’re going to die at least once. However, a lot of the times, after getting killed a single time, they dip. How do I mitigate this problem? Everyone who’s playing a match has done the tutorial.
Give them a reward for killing others, without making them wait at the end of the match, also use Call to action (CTA) (e.g Killing someone gives you a better chance on the leaderboards) Add leaderbords to make them want to get to the top. Use any content creator you can to advertise your game
