Reccently I decided to sponsor my horror game Subject 52 it managed to get up to 300 concurent playres but then it plumeted down to about five in only a short time here is the game - Subject 52 [ALPHA] - Roblox is there any reason for why this might be happening?
for how many days did you sponsor it?
2 days and put 5 ad credits a day
Simple, your game has no incentive for players to return. This is called player retention, so if can get people to play every day (for example, with daily rewards), you can maintain your player count.
The ad is good, but the gameplay isn’t is my guess.
Your CPM bid was too high, thus you won every auction in a short period of time which drained your daily budget.
Try thin it out a bit more. You want enough players so the algorithm can eventually pick it up but then not blow through your budget
What @eatabler0ck said, but it’s probably one of the issues with your gameplay that I mentioned in your DMs. The game is too frustrating (feeling unfair), as people die too easily and quickly so they don’t stay long. Better gameplay is the main way you’ll retain players. Everything else is secondary
How much did you bid for the CPP?
i’m guessing that there was no reason that people should join the game again so they play once and move on
edit: played the game with a couple other people, maybe people were confused on how to play and left? another reason could be that they died and didn’t want to respawn so they just left.
irrelevant;
sorry i haven’t been on roblox in half a year but what are ad credits? before didn’t you use robux
basically you spend robux or usd to buy ad credits then you bid a certain amount of ad credits and then your game will be sponsored
i see… why don’t they just keep it how it was
idk maybe it makes them more money
how much usd/robux did you spend on ads total?
about 10k robux (more characters)
