Why do we use :Inverse() when Applying CFrames to Welds

So I have a small Question about how Welds work when trying to Script stuff, while I was playing around with some Welds, I tried applying a CFrame Value to it to apply its position somewhere else relative to a Part, but doing this causes issues where the Part does not go where where it needs to, and for some reason :Inverse() fixed the issue, What does :Inverse() do to welds? Why do we use it for this purpose?

I mean, It kind of makes sense, but playing around with the Weld does not give me the Results that was being said, and just ended up not working.

Edit: Fixed it by adding another Weld.
