Why does ice look so weird after some time when game is loaded?

This is what I see it editor and right after game started. Nice!

This kicks in after aprox 10 seconds. Its like overdetailed/scratched and doesn’t look so much as ice any more, but something else.

Any ideas?

I think it’s something to do with the graphics you’re playing or the graphic quality in the studio

I want for all players the look/texture of the 1st image. Can I achieve that?

Studio and Roblox Player user different graphics settings. You need to change the edit quality level in studio and set in to the maximum.
open studio and go to File > Studio Settings > Rendering > Edit Quality Level and change it to Level 21.

Hope this helped!

Cool. So highest quality ice looks like, hmmm, something… is over-detailed :frowning: . I can’t also change this for all players, as quality is choice of every individual.

Yes, this is what ice is supposed to look like. The first image is the low detail version, the reason in the second image it showed as “having detail” was because you had high graphics in-game but low graphics in studio.

You can’t and propably won’t be able to force a graphics setting to all users. You can’t change that.

I personally suggest working on the detailed version rather that the low detail one. since it’s the “intended version”
