Why does NCS (No Copyright Sounds) music get deleted by Roblox?

I think NCS has amazing music, but when I tried to put one of their songs into roblox, it got deleted for copyright. I find this odd because the channel is literally called No Copyright Sounds.

I donā€™t really have much knowledge here, but hereā€™s what I think:

A) Roblox takes it down because itā€™s ā€™not yoursā€™.
You didnā€™t really make it yourself, so roblox would probably flag it up, since itā€™s already published and ā€˜associatedā€™ with someone already, etc etc.

B) Itā€™s already on the marketplace.
Popular songs such as Tobuā€™s Nitro (which I think Iā€™ve seen on NCS before) are ALREADY uploaded (eg, By DistroKidOfficial).

Iā€™d say check if your requested sound does indeed exist and is already uploaded prior to trying to upload yourself.

Hopefully this helps ya!

Well NCS is free to use with no copyright issues. However using the music in video- games can fall under ā€œBroadcastā€ rights. This is why I believe Roblox deletes them.

As @K9TvzArt said, many sites offer non-copyright songs/content, but with the stipulation that it is not used in any way to make money for the user.

In this case you may have a completely free Roblox game, but because Roblox gives you Premium payouts in Robux when people play your game itā€™s a form of income. Robux are convertible to cash, so you are making a profit using this content.
